Why Wiverr exists
Wiverr started with a problem we kept running into ourselves. At events in Dar es Salaam, at meetings in Nairobi, at conferences in Kigali — we'd exchange paper business cards, and half of them ended up in a drawer.
The tools that existed didn't fit how people here actually network. They assumed everyone had a LinkedIn profile and a fast data connection. They didn't account for WhatsApp-first communication or the reality that most meaningful introductions happen face to face.
So we built Wiverr. A digital business card that opens by link, QR code, or NFC tap — and works both ways. You share your details, and you collect theirs, in the same moment.
